Oh Iceland, where to start? This island is such a great place to explore with endless waterfalls, views and natural beauty. On a 10 day trip we covered most of the Iceland by driving the famous Route 1. If you are into nature and/or photography, this must be your next destination. Highlights were Skógafoss, Svartifoss, the crashed DC 3 Planewreck, driving the infamous F-road into the highlands and of course seeing the Northern Lights around Kirkjufell. At the end of our trip I got to meet one of my favorite directors, Werner Herzog, during the Reykjavík International Film Festival.

Yeah, we got lucky on this one.
